I don't know... lol ?

Where to start,

Storyline : I know I'll be a little rude on this part, and I apology in advance.
At first when I've read g1rl on the computer I though of the old well known warning " g.i.r.l. = guy in real life" so you'd understand I laughed even if the movie wasn't meant to.
Over-romance is simply getting me bored. On Newgrounds I'm used to have an overdose of hentai, mindless violence and brainless romance, just to say how I don't like the topic itself. Lot of symbolism used as well, like smiling for nothing and holding hands... Anyway, taking an airplane that cost hundreds of $ to meet someone just me on the web is silly as well. They will eventually break up in 3 weeks. This is the way life goes nowadays. Maybe you should make the follow-up on this for your next movie ;)

Music was ok. Fit the theme as well and complement the flash the way it can, brining a good mood. General audio quality was average and was a good deal in between file size and sound quality as well.

Graphics? What to say about them? Lot of shadowing effects lacking and abuse of tweening. Nothing bad by itself.
Graphism was kept simple and was good as is.
A tip, because I feel like you need one, is to use the same object, copy it on a new graphic object, put it all black. I don't know, try with the trees. Once you put the blacked tree in the main flash, use the fading effect to make is 10 to 30% visible, strech it to make it like a real shadow and there you go. Within a minute you created shadow effects for most objects.

Overall it was fine enough to keep the audition to watch it completely, which is already above the average. The whole movie is good as is but is pretty basic. If you want to rework for improvement you can almost touch anything as well.

I would like to say that the meeting on the internet thing and taking a plane to meet each other was not my idea. I did this as a favor for someone.

Also, I am starting a Flash course in school, which will hopefully help me some. (though maybe not since I am probably the most advanced and youngest person in there) o well.

I'll try the shadow thing; I knew about it, just never really tried it.

[Megaman X: 'the MR']

Somewhat good

After the first listening I had a good impression about it. I love the team anyway which is mostly why I watched it. Anyway, there is my review:

The humour was ok, with a storyline barely based on the game itself. The principle of having the reverse situation was somehow interesting but not pushed over to parody a lot the basics of the game itself. Some jokes weren't interesting while some were. The text reading Sigma could be skipped it wasn't a big deal for the viewer. It should have been presented or introduced somehow more like the real game for a maximum effect, since it's a game pardoy as well.

Graphics were drawed in a ok way. As exemple there were no shadowing effects in most of the case. Good point is the animation is well done with it. Mouths were well set on the voices and well animated as well. Backgrounds isn't the strong point ether but there again I didn't feel it as disturbing.

The voiceacting was good enough. No scratchy sounds from the microphone and about all the same voice level. That's good. Music choices from Megaman was nice and remembered me when I played those games. Always like to hear them. Most of the movie was dialogs anyway.

By the overall, I liked it and watched it twice. You have put efforts into this and the results are there. I hope you can experiment some more on the storylines. You are already skilled with the graphics. You are very close to succes.

Yeah, for this I didnt think so much about the storyline unlike what I did with the previous MMX shorts I have made (expect the first one).

But if you ever go to watch the older ones you will notice a really bif improvement in the graphics.
And same goes with the animation.

But backgrounds are something I should work on, I always find myself not having enough ideas for decent ones.

Definitely outstanding!

A good movie deserve a good review, so here it is:

Starting with a sweet music and nice high quality panoramic drawings, this movie leads us to a inca warrior's sacred quest. The quest itself is to take-off a menace of giant birds who eats meat, even humans. Using multiple strategies the mytical warrior comes to his ends.
The storyline is well used and good for a nice epic flash movie. Pretty simple for sure, but as nice as an adventure for mytical story.

My personnal comment about the story is as well, the big birds are not tormenting villagers for the pleasure of it. They are simply feeding themselves such as any creature would do. In general animals pick-up what is easyer to get, which is more likely to be cows, sheeps and such before humans in general. But heh, humans fight for themselves first.

What to say about drawings? They were a very good mix-up of still tweens with moving tweens and/or repeated movieclip. Most of the light/shadow effects were perfect. But you missed some such as the torch in the house who emited constant light for a non-constant flame. Backgrounds? They were totally awesome. Well drawn and colorfull. I would even come to compare them with the ones in the brackenwood flash movies.

The music selection was simply awesome. Right in the mood of the movie storyline and still of good quality despite the compressing. Also, I have had a very bad time to identify which song is refering to which author's names.

Deleted scene: You did well to still put it at the end and not scrap it. It tells us well as a reminder that their belief is different than ours. It is a symbol of cultural involvement.

Overall, the movie is clearly awesome.
You've worked hard for it, and I thanks you for your work as you entertained me well with it. Your work really impressed me.

[The Linda Show: Wal-Mart]

I feel sorry for you.

This work is awesome.

Drawings are of high quality just like you are used to do. Animation was also very good just keep it up. I don't really have anything to say about it. Of course I could say things about shadowing effect and everything, but I like it. Keep it simple as it is.

The ideas you used on this movie are why this flash is worth high. Lot of sarcams just like the joke about the strong economy and then the credit cards. Beside that, I just read this week in the newspaper that americans who declared a personnal money failure increased by 500% since 1985. This is somehow related, lol.

I like a lot this kind of humour, even if I know young kids don't usually understand it at first but it fits very well the way you chose to speak of WalMart. Of course, the many Wal-Mart joke was good. It makes them competing theirselves and I think kids can get it.

I think it's a general attitude shown in our society in general. We can't get the people moved, just like that women tried. They care more of their money than any other things, even then buy things they don't really need. Really I like the style in which you expressed that situation. I think this streamline is a work from a genius.

I smiled at the side joke with the Nintendo Wii. I seen a lot of pictures and complains about it on the web. They did a mistake with some parts of the material, but in general the crashes I seen were human based. Not to tell, but a lot of people don't really think before they do something. They don't see how to do things safe. Their security stops after buckeling the belt in a car and using soap for the hands...

There is a part I didn't find very funny. Maybe it is because I don't watch T.V. a lot or I don't watch T.V. from american culture, but the "time to laugh"
jokes seemed a little silly to me. Maybe you can explain me how they are. It could be that I'm missing a little culture about it.

Your work is awesome. It is well drawn, animated and used a lot of good ideas. It should have been more of a success. Actually I feel sorry for you, it should have been frontpaged so everyone could look at it, especially that it is socialy implied.

[The New H5000]

Simple and wonderfull !!

Oh you have such great ideas it's unbelievable. I almost don't know where to start my review....

At first, the obvious sarcastic flash shows a lot of humour. The flash artist used a pattern of bad points the "big american cars" often have, and then enhanced them at the point the are ridiculous. The final touches a plague of the U.S.A. nation : terrorism.

The flash techniques reveals this author isn't experienced in the special effects. The short/medium lenght movie has no sound. Graphism is made of those little twins from graphic objects and possibly take no time to make. Of course, no light effects are used and nether shadows.

Actually, i wanted MORE, which pretty much tells how good that movie was, despite all the material bad points.
I have to say, you deserve it : Thanks for that movie that made me laugh a lot.

I really hope you have a share of ideas in your pocket
because they are worth it.

Bon,

Il est clair que les non-francophones vont râler sur le contenu parce que ce n'est pas dans leur très chère langue natale et qu'ils sont quequefois bornés. Cela étant dit, l'animation comme telle est intéressante.

En effet, le tweening est bien utilisé autant pour le texte que pour l'animation. L'animation est quelque peu répétitive mais ne mine pas l'animation en générale, puisque ce sont des nouveaux éléments à chaque scène.

Les images externes ont un bon taux de pixels et ne sont pas assez agrandies pour déranger de par la qualité graphique.
Les personnages sont bien simples, les 2 filles et le chien. Des simili poupées utilisées sont suffisantes pour l'effet des personnages dans l'animation, des cordes et des tiges servent à améliorer leur crédibilité en tant que poupées.

L'animation du texte est bien effectuée. On voit rarement sur Newgrounds des animations avec le texte qui fait une rotation ainsi. Bref il est original et bien calibré pour la grosseur et le rythme.

Les décors sont pour la plupart du temps inexistants. Malgré tout ce fond blanc et/ou noir selon la scnène ne viennent pas miner le film dans son ensemble. Cependant un élément mérite d'être mensionné. Les vagues et la chute d'eau sont malheureusement mal assemblés. Soit l'animation de la chute est de trop, soit il manque l'animation des vagues. Mais le mixte des 2 donne une légère impression de lacune.

The bad point I can give to the whole movie is the fact that it is "frenglish" as it's mixed. You have to understand both languages to understand everything, frustrating pure francophones ans pure anglophones who aren't any bilingual to those.

Overall it's a good job,

[Happiness Apotheosis]

Impressive

I thought first it would be so so. The introduction reminded me the original movie. Woa, it is well done.

The concept get used after a while in the movie. Little random scenes such as the guy killing his teammate accidentally and another one voluntary were good to break-up the streamline. Good job.

The faces you used such as ^|^ were good to show happiness. It was pretty much as simple face as the original movie.

I must say I got disappointed on a thing. When I seen it's Apotheosis I figured there would be the dancing disco scene somehow. This scene would have be as much rememberable as the car scene. That was ok though.

Things that you miss: You could have a jesus character just as the original, but that would make the disco guys anger and drop their gifts instead of making-up zombies.
Another joke that you possibly miss is when he triggers his gun to 'Mega'. This could been used somehow too. These were scenes that break the killing in each room the same kind of.

Anyway, overall this movie is still a nice parody.

A very few improvement

Hi,
I remember the original one. A few more scenes has been added/deleted to this one such as the fall to hell.

The very good point (in the story) now is that we see what St-Pierre (St Peter in english) was reading to judge Corey. As far as I remember, these were reasons as a point of discordance in the first movie and you did great to imput this.

I don't see why you want to remove your ancient work even when the new one is better. I mean, it's a part of your flash technique growing and its interesting to see diffrences in it from the firs release to the latest.
The other way to go is to swap the movie. It's illegal if the movie doesn't fit, but for improvement there are no problems you can update it without submitting a new one.

The artwork you do is appreciable. You use a good match of high-quality pictures in teamwork with flash effects and graphics. The result is very interesting as only a few artists succeed to make something good to the eye with those 2 worlds.
Some effects were missing. To be accurate, when he sleeps, the baseball cap is a pic posted over the desktop. It doesn't looks like on a desk because of it's shape and no angle.

The sound was of very good quality, which explains possibly the major part of the 9.6 Mb the movie requires. It shouldn't be a problem to most users though. Musics selection could be different but they were very good from my point of view, considering as well it fit the movie. Voice actor was of high quality too.

The part with major lack is the interactivity. I know it's a movie but still has to get some. No replay button, no pause button and if the viewer pause it with the menu, the sounds keep going without the images (because the sound should stop too). Fix it by using the stream option on the sound property (layers -> frame -> property).

Overall it's a VERY good movie (I insist) but I consider it needs some little more work.

I agree on your point that the Sunshine crew abuses much of the same movie.

By the way you missed 2 things when you made your replica.
1. the sun has to move with the whole object whereever you click.
2. the text frame should disappear 1 frame after its shown. email me on newgorunds if you want the method.

Are you kidding? People go to hell for crimes such as steal, rape, murder and such .... I don't see how listening to heavy metal and grabbing his own ass is a evil life that deserve punishment. In my words, the storyline's plot doesn't fit, unless you're in a sect or so...

Oh by the way, no text speaks of hell before the years 900. You should consider that it has been invented by humans probably as paradise to dictate population's way to behave. I'm not telling that we don't need lines to follow but mainly religion is a plot from men to control other men.

The movie was well done for the technical purposes, with the best point being graphics were very well drawn. Music's quality was good and maybe a little too much if you want the advice.

The 8 mb file size is excessive for the needs of that movie. You should somehow cut down on audio files sizes by the use of a audio-working program like audacity or the one you want, and then update the movie via your account options.
